Vilasraoji Deshmukh   Former Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India and Former Chief Minister, Maharashtra, India In 1988, the great Indian visionary leader and philanthropist, late shree Vilasraoji Dagdojiraoji Deshmukh established Manjara charitable trust in Latur for providing quality education to students of Maharashtra. His inspiration and guidance enabled the educational and social institutions under the trust to achieve many recognitions and awards in the past and his social vision will be a motivation for all future initiatives and activities of the institutions under the trust. Moreover, through establishment of women educational institutions, the trust enables rural and urban women to get educated and actively contribute in development of nation. During last two decades, the trust started several educational institutions providing primary, secondary & Higher Secondary, Degree education and research programmes in almost all disciplines of knowledge at various places in Maharashtra. Manjara Ayurved Medical College & Hospital is established in the year 2000-2001 with an object to provide excellent academic environment & Facilities to synthesize well educated & qualified medical graduates of Ayurveda.
